ABOUT NOVARE HOLDINGS
Founded in 2000, Novare is one of South Africa’s leading independent financial services groups. We initially began our journey as an independent advisory business, offering personalised financial advice. A year later, in 2001, we entered the multi-manager industry by providing multi-manager and alternative investment solutions to our retail and institutional clients.

In 2006, we leveraged our ability to adapt and grow investment opportunities by expanding beyond South African borders to form a diversified Pan-African financial services group. Since then, we have steadily built an extensive African footprint with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Botswana, Mauritius and Nigeria.

Our on-the-ground presence in one of the world’s most attractive investment continents, coupled with an innovative mindset, has positioned us as an emerging market investment provider of choice. Our commitment to reliability, consistency and sustainability are fundamental to our business approach, and the number of long-term clients we continue to retain is a testament to our exceptional performance.

As an independent firm with a proven 18-year track record and strong balance sheet, we are able to offer our clients a wide variety of unique, well-researched investment options, including investment advice, asset management, investment consulting, alternative investments and private equity.

Novare is owned by Zwide Capital (26%), and the founding shareholders (74%). Zwide Capital is a 100% black-owned investment holding business with broad-based beneficiaries. The group comprises of seven subsidiaries and an additional 38.8% invested in Matrix Fund Managers, a South African boutique asset manager.

Novare Actuaries and Consultants is an independent advisory business providing investment consulting services to institutional clients throughout Southern Africa.
Novare Investments is an independent multi-manager providing solutions to both institutional and retail investors.
Novare Equity Partners is the advisor tasked with sourcing and presenting new development opportunities to the management of the Novare Africa Property Funds, which has a specific mandate to invest in the real estate sector, both retail and commercial, exclusively in sub-Saharan Africa outside of South Africa.
Novare Capital is a facilitator of product solutions such as unit trusts, retail retirement vehicles and post-retirement solutions through their own licensed entities.
Novare CIS is the management company (MANCO).
Novare owns 38.8% in Matrix Fund Managers, a boutique asset manager.
