In 1988 Dawie Joubert seizes his farming business near Stellenbosch after 30 years. He started a small enterprise with his trusted employee of many years, Samuel Majosi, by buying, fixing and reselling used farming equipment.
Joubert Implemente’s first premises in Devonpark in Stellenbosch rapidly become too small to accommodate the growth, and in 1990 the business moves to its own premises in Bird Street. Again more space was needed as the growing company expands, and Dawie purchases the adjacent property in Tennant Street for further expansion.
Shortly thereafter Dawie’s youngest son Jannie joined his father in the business. Jannie’s passion for mechanics, supported by his qualification in Mechanical Engineering from the then Cape Technikon, stands him in good stead to establish a niche section of the business by designing and manufacturing trailors, grape bins, truck load bodies and a range of other implements.
Today Joubert Implemente employs 14 fulltime personnel who all share in the company’s vision for growth whilst maintaining its well-established reputation and commitment to service delivery.
Joubert Implemente extends its gratitude to its Heavenly Father for its many successes over the years.
